Currituck-Dare Community Foundation to host free grantseekers workshops

Nonprofit organizations in Currituck and Dare counties seeking funding from the North Carolina Community Foundation and local affiliate foundation, the Currituck-Dare Community Foundation, are invited to participate in free grantseekers workshops.
 
 
The workshop will take place in both Currituck and Dare counties. In Dare County, the workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 15 from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. at Duck Woods Country Club located at 50 S. Dogwoods Trail, Southern Shores. In Currituck County, the workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 15 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the TownBank of Currituck located at 250 Caratoke Hwy, Moyock. The program will cover the grants application process for any nonprofit seeking grants from NCCF local the Currituck-Dare Community Foundation.

Participants will learn how to apply for grants through the NCCF online system and find out the key to a great proposal. Sheila Davis, CDCF board president said the workshops are an important opportunity for local nonprofits. “We’re working to provide clarity around our grants process and funding allocations to our local nonprofit community,” she said. “We look forward to continuing to partner with these important local organization to make our community a better place to live and work.”
