Triangle Community Foundation is delighted to announce six new Board members as the organization kicked off the 2023-2024 fiscal year this past week with in-person orientation.

 

Triangle Community Foundation is delighted to announce six new Board members as the organization kicked off the 2023-2024 fiscal year this past week with in-person orientation.
 
“We are excited to be welcoming one of our largest and perhaps most diverse group of new Board members in the last 10 years” said Lori O’Keefe, Foundation President & CEO. “The Foundation is preparing to enter a new phase of strategic planning, and the unique and varied experiences of our newest members will complement the skillsets of our existing members. The energy and engagement was palpable at our orientation, and I look forward to our first Board meeting with them in September.”
 
The Foundation’s six new Board members are:
Matt Bullard: Trusts & Estates attorney (semi-retired), Wyrick Robbins Yates &. Ponton LLP.  Matt’s practice has primarily focused on wealth transfer planning, tax planning and trust and estate administration.

LaToya Montague: Executive, Director, Communities In Schools of Wake County. LaToya has dedicated her 20+ year professional career in youth development with the organization.

Hilary Pollan: Founder & Lead Facilitator, Hilary Pollan Facilitation. Hilary is an equity-oriented independent facilitator with a range of experience facilitating participatory group process and managing cross-sector collaborative projects.

Evan Raleigh: Assistant City Manager, City of Raleigh. Evan has oversight responsibilities for the operation of several city departments which include Equity and Inclusion, Housing and Neighborhoods, Emergency Management and Special Events, Community Engagement, and the Raleigh Convention and Performing Arts Center Complex.

Pilar Rocha-Goldberg: President & CEO, El Centro Hispano, Inc. Pilar works to strengthen the Latiné community in several key focus areas, including education, economic development, health, and well-being.

Laura Virkler: Community Leader. Laura has a background in systems integration consulting with Accenture and has spent the last 20 years working mainly with educational and environment nonprofits, whether as an active volunteer, committee member, or member of the Board.
