The Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems Funders, the North Carolina Network of Grantmakers, Grantmakers in Health, Blue Cross and Blue Shield Foundation North Carolina, Golden LEAF, and Z. Smith Reynolds invite you to join us and share your foundation’s priorities with respect to food and agriculture in North Carolina. This will be an informal gathering designed for a wide-range of grantmakers - environment, economic development, health, land preservation, social justice and others – looking for points of intersection with North Carolina’s agriculture and food system sectors. We’ll explore how the system looks from our different viewpoints and what we think the critical issues are. Time allowing, we’ll discuss possible areas for collaboration. We’ll be joined by staff from national funder networks who will discuss similar efforts taking place around the country.
