Join the Young Non Profit Professionals of the Triangle for their July Leadership Luncheon at the North Carolina Community Foundation (NCCF) Friday,
July 13 from 12pm to 1pm, to learn about how foundations in our state
operate in grant management, mission success, and community building
through philanthropy. The North Carolina Community Foundation has
generously offered to cater lunch for all attendees, through the Inter-faith Food Shuttle’s Catering for A Cause.
This program helps aspiring chefs who are part of the Food Shuttle’s
Culinary Training Institute and provides job skills to people in need.
This event is open to all YNPN Triangle members regardless of their place in their career. However, we are asking for a $5 donation to support the functions of YNPN Triangle, and only the first 30 RSVPs will be able to attend!
The
NCCF is the single statewide community foundation serving North
Carolina and has made nearly $63 million in grants since its inception
in 1988. With more than $145 million in assets, the NCCF sustains 1,000
plus endowments established to provide long-term support of a broad
range of community needs, nonprofit organizations, institutions and
scholarships. The NCCF partners with 60 affiliate foundations to provide
local resource allocation and community assistance in 67 counties
across the state. An important component of the NCCF’s mission is to
ensure that rural philanthropy has a voice at local, regional and
national levels.
We
will be joined by experienced staff members in fiscal management,
nonprofit management, communications, and leadership from the NC
Community Foundation.
So
join us on July 13th at 12pm. The office of NCCF is located at 4601 Six
Forks Road, Suite 524, Raleigh in the Landmark Building. If there are
no spaces available in the front, there is additional parking behind the
building. As you are facing the building from the front parking lot,
enter through the double doors of the Landmark Center II tower on your
right and take the elevator to the fifth floor, suite 524.
