Lenoir County Community Foundation accepting grant applications

The board of advisors of the Lenoir County Community Foundation is currently accepting grant applications for projects funded from its community grantmaking fund, according to Adrian King, board president.
Funds are available for nonprofit organizations that serve general charitable needs in Lenoir County. Applications are available online beginning March 17. Visit nccommunityfoundation.org for information about applying. The deadline for submitting applications is noon April 18.
The Lenoir County Community Foundation is an affiliate of the North Carolina Community Foundation. The community grantmaking fund was established to support local charitable needs through annual grants. In addition to King, board members include: Frances Theodorakis (vice president), Jimmette Graham (secretary), Chris Henderson (treasurer), Gregory Floyd, Skip Greene, Greg Hannibal, Earl Harper, Mary Jo Jefferson, John Marston, Marc McConnell, Julian Pridgen, Caroline Roberts, Leraine Tolson and Dale Warner.
