NC Community Foundation to host free grantseekers workshop

Nonprofit organizations in Edgecombe and Nash counties seeking grant funding from the North Carolina Community Foundation are invited to participate in a free granteekers workshop, according

to Kelly Lee, regional director.


The workshop will take place Friday, July 14, from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. at the Braswell Memorial Library, 727 N. Grace St., Rocky Mount, NC 27804. The program will cover the grants application process for any nonprofit seeking grants from NCCF local affiliates including the Futrell-Mauldin Community Foundation for Greater Rocky Mount, Edgecombe Charitable Foundation and the Women Givers of Nash-Rocky Mount.


Participants will learn how to apply for grants through the NCCF online system and find out the key to a great proposal. Those interested in attending are asked to RVP by July 11 to Sheila Cratch at
