Community Foundation of Henderson County’s 40th Anniversary Grants are designed to inspire nonprofits to answer the question: “If we had an additional $20,000 to $40,000 in grant funding what would we be able to accomplish?” Community Foundation is looking for proposals that would enhance an organization’s already successful program, embark on a new initiative, or build partnerships in order to connect even more people with fulfilling philanthropic missions. Anniversary Grant proposals should also fall within interest areas that are important to the Henderson County community. These interest areas include Animal Care, Arts & Culture, Civic & Community, Conservation, Education, Health and Human Services.
Community Foundation of Henderson County will accept applications from 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations in Henderson County or organizations with programs directly benefiting Henderson County. Online applications for the 40th Anniversary Grants opened November 19, 2021 at cfhcforever.org. Applications will close at 11:59 p.m., February 18, 2022.
“Without individuals, families, organizations, and corporations giving to make our community stronger, healthier and better, Community Foundation of Henderson County would not be the special organization it is today. Every donor and act of philanthropy is an important part of our history, and we are looking forward to our next 40 years,” says Community Foundation President and CEO McCray V. Benson.
In addition to the one-time Anniversary Grants, Community Foundation’s regular grantmaking that includes Community Grants, Perry N. Rudnick Grants, Women in Need of Support Grants, Fletcher Community Grants, and Field of Interest Grants will continue in 2022 as in years past.
