Aces for Autism Receives Grant from SECU Foundation for New Autism Clinic

RALEIGH, N.C., Dec. 13, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- SECU Foundation is excited to announce a $1.5 million grant to Aces for Autism for the first phase construction of a new facility – the SECU Autism Clinic of Eastern North Carolina. The building will be located on a new campus in Winterville and will nearly triple the non-profit’s capacity to serve their larger community, dramatically reducing their current waitlist.

Golden LEAF Foundation awards $40 million for transformative project

The Governor announced on Monday that Toyota will build its first North American battery manufacturing plant for a new generation of vehicles in North Carolina. The new facility, located at the Greensboro-Randolph Megasite, will include at least 1,750 new jobs and private capital investment of at least s $1.29 billion.

Community Foundation of Henderson County Announces 2021 Sauer and Marlow Award Recipients

The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina Awards St. Gerard's House $20,000

St. Gerard House (SGH) announces a $20,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Western North Carolina to enhance parent involvement and safety for Grotto clients by installing a camera system. The Grotto program is a full-day, year round educational and therapeutic service to children aged 3 - 21 with autism spectrum disorder. A portion of funds will also support transportation for adult pre-vocational program participants in the community.
