Triangle Community Foundation Announces a new Shannon St. John Philanthropy Fellow

To recognize the pioneering work of Triangle Community Foundation’s founding President, its Board created the Shannon St. John Fellowship in 2009. From 2009 until 2020, this Fellowship was a summer program geared towards current or recent graduate students. Recent past Fellows are now employed by the Democracy Fund, the Office of the Governor, Families Together, and Chatham County Partnership for Children.

In 2021, the Foundation will be transitioning the Fellowship program to a two-year, comprehensive position aimed at introducing new and recent graduates to the field of philanthropy.

Asheville, N.C. – Dogwood Health Trust is pleased to announce the addition of three members to its Board of Directors. The Board has confirmed Rear Admiral (ret.) Richard Houck (Transylvania County), Mr. Fred Jones (Macon County), and Bishop José McLoughlin (Henderson County), as new members. John Ball, M. D., J.D., rotated off the board, as his term ended in 2020.
