The Foundation for a Healthy High Point awards Fall Traditional and Fluid Strategic Investment Grants to 11 Non-Profits

High Point, N.C. — On December 2, 2020 the Board of Directors for the Foundation for a Healthy High Point — a private foundation that invests in the advancement of health and wellness for High Point residents — approved a total of $572,180 in grants to local non-profits. $467,905 was approved for the Fall Traditional Grants Program, and $104,275 was approved for the fourth quarter Fluid Strategic Investment, or COVID-19 Relief Grants program. Approximately 30% of the Traditional Grants were awarded to support behavioral health services, and 36% were awarded to support the Healthy Beginnings Initiative.

Golden LEAF Board awards $2.4M in funding, elects board officers and committee chairs, works on development of strategic plan

ROCKY MOUNT, N.C., (December 3, 2020) – Today, the Golden LEAF Board of Directors awarded more than $2.4 million in funding to support agriculture, economic development, entrepreneurship, capacity building, and disaster recovery through projects across North Carolina. The Board also heard from its strategic planning consultants on the results of outreach and data gathering efforts launched over the summer. The Board is expected to adopt a strategic plan in the first quarter of 2021.

Triangle Community Foundation Awards $280,000 to 28 Local Nonprofit Organizations Focused on Education & Youth

Dogwood Health Trust Awards More Than $2.8 Million in Racial Equity Community Grants to 130 Organizations in Western North Carolina

Asheville, N.C. – Dogwood Health Trust has awarded more than $2.8 million in Racial Equity Community Grants to a diverse range of 130 nonprofit and government agencies from every county and the Qualla Boundary in Western North Carolina. Dogwood exceeded its original funding goal of $1 million, funding 65% of requests, with the average award amount totaling $21,884.
