We are inviting funders and Hispanic/Latino-led and serving nonprofits to come together for a co-learning experience: Between Our Community: Prosperity Together!, co-hosted by NCNG and the Hispanic Federation.
This is a working, slightly experimental space designed to support candid conversations about power, expectations, and how funding relationships work.
If you are interested in exploring the topics below, we’d love to have you join us:
- Gaining deeper cultural understanding to inform your grantmaking
- Asking honest questions in a setting designed for openness
- Building stronger relationships with other funders and nonprofit partners
- Connecting with nonprofit leaders whose work aligns with your funding priorities
How the day will work:
The morning will include two concurrent sessions:
- a cultural competency workshop for funders led by the Hispanic Federation, and
- a philanthropic landscape and “Grants 101” workshop for nonprofits led by NCNG
After a shared lunch, the afternoon will offer curated, small-group networking, designed to support relevant conversations and relationship building.
