Listen to Community: A (Continuing) Conversation between Philanthropy & Nonprofits

Six months ago, Feedback Labs, in partnership with Listen to Community, hosted a rich, honest conversation between funders and nonprofits, sparked by the powerful reflections of grassroots community leaders featured in the film, Listen to Community: Community Conversations. Participants made it clear: this conversation isn’t just necessary, it’s urgent.

This follow-up gathering will dive deeper into the realities, tensions, and opportunities shaping relationships between funders, nonprofits, and the communities they seek to serve. We are reconvening to build, repair, and strengthen these relationships in a moment when trust, responsiveness, and community voice matter more than ever.

We’ll kick off with a fireside chat with Jabari Lyles, Principal at Jabari Lyles Consulting and a featured voice in the film. The conversation will set the tone for facilitated small- and large-group discussions designed to foster connection, strategic brainstorming, and collective action.
