Preparing for Disaster: A Virtual Conversation

As hurricane season begins, join us for a practical conversation about how philanthropy can be better prepared for disasters. This virtual session will reflect on lessons learned from past disasters and share helpful tools, including a look at NCNG’s disaster playbook.

We’ll focus on what funders can do and know before a storm hits – how to support grantees and partners in preparing, what’s happening behind the scenes during disaster response, and how philanthropy can plug in effectively. This conversation will also tee up an in‑person follow‑up at our Fall Gathering, where participants will be invited to share how their organizations plan to show up in times of crisis.
