On behalf of the board of Fox Family Foundation, it is with great pleasure that I announce Roxanne Miller has accepted our offer to become our next Executive Director effective November 1.
Roxanne joins the Foundation with a breadth of career experience most recently as the Executive Director of the Durham Tech Foundation and Vice President and Chief Institutional Advancement Officer of Durham Technical Community College. Since moving to the Triangle in 2015, Roxanne has worked in partnership with nonprofit organizations and foundations across the region to advance education, economic mobility, and community well-being.
Roxanne also brings over a decade of foundation experience working with foundations in Maine including two large family foundations with a combined $3 million grantmaking portfolio. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maine and a Certificate in Non-Profit Management from Duke University.
We look forward to working with Roxanne, and I hope you will join me in welcoming her to her new position as we build upon Fox Family Foundation’s 35 years of philanthropic support for the greater Durham area and as we seek new and innovative ways to address challenges that continue to face our community.
