Mobilizing Investments for an Age-Integrated Society

Continuing the Common Application Conversation

Family Foundations: Things We Wish We Knew with Grant Philanthropic Advisors

Grant Philanthropic Advisors (GPA) explored questions and topics centered on family philanthropy that next generations wish they’d asked their parents and grandparents. Having clear guideposts on thorny issues can be a gift to future generations. GPA shared issues that have come up for families governance and grantmaking that were left to interpretation. What can be documented while Founder(s) are still living? How can you interpret documents and behaviors of the Founder(s) after they have passed to inform current strategy?
