How We Live Our Values

1. Value Perspectives
   Learn from the other people in the discussion.
2. Step up. Step Back.
   Allow all voices to be heard. Amplify marginalized voices. We all have something to contribute.
3. Promote Accessibility.
   Use the tools provided to enable full participation.
4. Acknowledge Power and Privilege.
   Be aware of how your position in the world intersects with others’.
5. Speak Your Truth.
   Speak from personal experience. Begin statements with “I”. Avoid making statements for others.
6. Focus on impact.
   No matter your intent, be accountable for your impact.
7. Be Curious.
   Ask questions to understand. Stay open to new ways of thinking or doing.
8. Share the Spirit.
   Report themes and ideas, not someone else's story or details.
9. Practice Care.
   Be kind and patient to yourself and each other. Take breaks. Eat snacks. Move your body.
10. Act with courage and vulnerability.
    When we can admit and show that we are human, we’re ultimately able to practice all of these agreements and hold each other accountable.
